The National Park Service was established on August 25, 1916, when President Woodrow Wilson signed the Organic Act. Now, 106 years later, our nation’s park rangers are still going strong. It was a huge honor for me to wear the green and gray uniform when I worked for the NPS back in the… well, a long time ago. Let’s celebrate with a book giveaway! You can enter using the form below. The grand prize winner will receive a signed copy of my newest national park novel, When Stone Wings Fly: A Great Smoky Mountains Novel. Three runners-up will each receive three (random) packets of national park loose-leaf tea blends designed by Simpson & Vail Teas, enough to make 18-24 cups of tea. It might not be the same packets/parks you see in the photo.

Entrants must be over the age of 18 and have a US mailing address (sorry international friends!). The contest will close September 1, 2022 at 12:00 pm.

As C.S. Lewis said, “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

Happy reading!
