Abingdon Press went all out on the cover design for the final book in the Golden Gate Chronicles. When I first opened the image, I gasped. Then I squealed in delight. It was quickly followed by a moment of panic–“Will readers love it?” Most Christian romances have an angst-ridden female character on the cover. Are we ready for a hunky hero? I think so! What do you think?
And the historical image at the bottom is the perfect representation of this story. Here’s a glimpse at what Through The Shadows is all about:
For those of you who have been following the series, don’t worry, favorite characters from Out of the Ruins and Beyond the Ashes WILL be making appearances: Robert, Abby, Gerald, Ruby, Aunt Mae–even Otto the dachshund. Each book also stands alone, so if you haven’t read the first two books, you should still be able to jump in mid-stream without feeling lost.

Through the Shadows releases in May, 2016. It’s a long wait, I know. Just so you don’t forget, why don’t you pop online and pre-order your copy now? Pre-orders help authors because all of those orders drop in the first week of sales. It boosts an author’s chance of making best-sellers lists and also encourages booksellers to lay in a bigger stock to meet the anticipated demand. Demand is good!
